Career Overview/ Highlight : Harpreet Brar IPL From 2019 to 2024
Chris Woakes had a start-stop-start career in the IPL. After picking up 18 wickets for Kolkata Knight Riders on his IPL debut in 2017, he struggled to get games in 2018, where he was picked up by Royal Challengers Bangalore for ₹7.4 crore. The Englishman featured in five games and took eight wickets. He was released before the 2019 IPL auction, where he went unsold.
He was bought by Delhi Capitals for the IPL 2020 season but pulled out as he wanted to keep himself fresh for the busy Test cricket summer. Waokes finally played his first game for the Capitals in 2021, where he featured in three games and picked up five wickets. Injury also played a role as he missed out on the 2022 edition and then, in 2023, pulled out to focus on the upcoming home summer, which had the Ashes.
