Rajat Patidar is a classic rags-to-riches story. Having made his debut in 2021 for Royal Challengers Bangalore, he was snubbed for the next season despite impressing in the limited opportunities that he got.

He didn’t let himself get disheartened and instead rushed to the nets to improve his game. With luck on his side, he was recalled to the franchise as a replacement for Luvnith Sisodia in the IPL 2022 season. Patidar knew this was his opportunity and grabbed it with both hands.
