De Kock made his IPL debut in 2013 for Sunrisers Hyderabad but would find his best form with the Mumbai Indians, who bought him for ₹2.8 crore in 2019. Meanwhile, between 2013 and 2019, he played for a few franchises, like Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. De Kock accounted for 529 and 503 runs in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
Opening the batting, he found his voice against the pacers, whom he would thrash around the leg side. He is happily settled with the Lucknow Supergiants, who have paid him ₹6.75 crore for his services in the 2022 IPL.
