Career Overview/ Highlight : Heinrich Klassen IPL 2018 to 2024
Heinrich Klaasen is relatively new in the cutthroat world of IPL. He made his IPL debut in 2018 for the Rajasthan Royals. He was not the first choice, as he had gone unsold in the 2018 auction and was brought in as a replacement for Steve Smith, who was banned from international cricket.
Interestingly, being a regular member of the South African side, he struggled to get a longer run in the IPL. In 2019, for RCB, he played three games and was released.
He had to wait in the wilderness and finally saw his IPL career getting a fresh lease of life as he was picked up by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2023. It was in this season that he finally got going in the IPL.
